In an entertaining evening of back-to-back performances, Doug McKenzie, Gord McNeil, Peter Marino, and Jeffery Marsh paid tribute to several artists.  Peter Marino started the evening off with his tribute to Engelbert Humperdink, and included a few bars of an original song he is working on, "Don't Put Off Tomorrow What You Can Do Today."  Later, Peter took the stage as Johnny Cash, singing JC's most popular songs.  Jeffery Marsh, from Waterloo, treated the audience to some Garth Brooks songs, and later joined Doug McKenzie in a rousing tribute to The Blues Brothers.  ETA Gord McNeil sang early Elvis in his first set, and later performed songs from the '70s wearing a light blue jumpsuit.  Gord, in his seventh year as an ETA, and third place winner at Collingwood, Non-Pro Division, interacted with the audience by giving out teddy bears and scarves and serenading his wife, Lynn, while dancing with her, and then fan, Tammy, which delighted the ladies.  Doug McKenzie looked and sounded great as Roy Orbison, wearing a fringed suede jacket and Roy's trademark sunglasses.  He was entertaining in his role as Elwood Blues, looking and sounding very much like Dan Ackroyd.  Joanmarie Provo was an excellent hostess, introducing and thanking the artists, and making everyone feel welcome at the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry show in Hamilton.  Joanmarie's husband, Ron Provo, who pays tribute to Kenny Rogers, was on hand at the ticket table, and helped with the draws for prizes.  Looking after the music for the event were John Denver tribute artist Jimmy Gribbon, Bev Gribbon, and Patti McKenzie.  Tribute artist Cathy Carbone, who is known for her winning Connie Francis performance, and her husband, Mike, attended the Valentine's inspired show.  Enthusiastic fan, Tammy, and her husband, John, along with couple Janice and Chris are pictured in a photo above.  Dot Farr, faithful follower of tribute artists, and dedicated ETA fan, enjoyed the evening.  Carol Trail, from Oshawa, and Jean and Lou Cardilli, are pictured with ETA Gord McNeil.  It was nice meeting ETA Butski and his wife, Linda, for the first time and posting their photo above.  Joanmarie announced that Amberley Beatty, who is an excellent Patsy Cline, will be performing at an upcoming show.  Tickets and information:  Joanmarie at 905-870-5949.
