How could ETA James Gibb possibly top his fantastic performance at Mohawk? By doing his last set in black leather! James burned up the stage covering songs from each decade of Elvis’s career. He added bits of information and humour to entertain his audience who stayed glued to their seats throughout his mesmerizing performance. With the support of close friends, some who travelled from as far away as Windsor, Barrie, and Toronto, and new and returning fans, James gave his all. As expected from a professional award-winning ETA, James’s vocals were superb. The most heart- melting moments came during his ballads. Lisa, James’s wife, did an excellent job at the controls. It was a well-rehearsed, smoothly run, show.
I had the pleasure of meeting ETA Frank Ross and his lovely wife, Angela, for the first time. It is always great seeing other ETAs coming out to support their ETA friends. Along with ETA Anthony Joseph, pictured below with his friend Mike, entertainer and artist, Marcus Wells, and his charming wife, Karen, came to Flamboro Downs to see James perform. It was wonderful seeing Wendy King, seasoned writer, ETA judge, dedicated Elvis fan, and media personality. Wendy, who often shares her great articles with SIDEBURNS, travelled from Barrie to see James’s show. I hope to see everyone soon at the next fabulous concert. In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy the following recap of the evening in photos. Cheers! C.M.
