Recap
In celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Harmony Square, visitors to Brantford’s downtown core were entertained this past weekend by a variety of performers on the Bell Stage. Travelling from as far away as Barrie and the Niagara area, fans gathered on Saturday, June 9th for the much anticipated performance of one of SIDEBURNS Magazine’s most popular ETAs, Matt Cage.
Looking handsome in his peacock jumpsuit, with a blue scarf and a yellow scarf around his neck, Matt dazzled the audience during his hour long performance. Overcast skies and a drizzling of rain did not dampen the enthusiasm of an audience that was treated to a fabulous performance by the talented, personable, award-winning ETA. Leaving the stage to mingle with the audience, Matt delighted lucky individuals by singing to them, shaking hands, and in a sweet gesture, presenting a little girl with the blue scarf that she will no doubt cherish.
After his hour long performance, Matt took time to chat with fans, sign autographs, and pose for photos. If you weren’t able to see Matt at Harmony Square, he has several upcoming performances listed on his website: www.mattcage.com
If you wish to read the interview I did with Matt, it can be found on SIDEBURNS Magazine’s website www.sideburnsmagazine.com under Profiles/Spotlight On and on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/sideburnsmagazine. Until next time, cheers everyone. Carolyn MacArthur
